Equus is an internally managed business development company (BDC) that trades on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol ‘EQS’.  We seek to build value for our stockholders by making yielding, equity and other investments in early and middle-market companies across various industries, with flexibility to invest across the entire capital structure.

We generally target companies at the lower end of the middle market, with annual revenue ranging from $5 million to $150 million and EBITDA of between $2 million and $50 million. Since these companies tend to be overlooked by traditional lenders and investment banks, we believe we have a greater opportunity to positively influence the financial and operational outcomes of these organizations.

• We look for prospective investments in business sectors in which we specialize, and where our resources can be applied at the most advantageous stage of the company’s growth cycle.
• We seek to leverage the advantage of proven, hands-on strategic management services that we provide, so portfolio company principals can focus on sustainable growth and success
